  • The role includes leading survey crews in the field to perform topographic, boundary, ALTA, and building surveys using advanced equipment such as total stations and GPS. Other responsibilities entail ensuring survey accuracy, conducting field calculations, maintaining survey equipment, coordinating with project managers, and implementing safety protocols during fieldwork. The Crew Chief will also oversee daily operations of the team and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Geospatial/Land Surveying Crew Chief

    • Proficiency in data collection for land surveys

    • Skilled in the use of Total Station and GPS equipment

    • Ability to oversee and lead survey crew operations with attention to accuracy

    • Proficient in technical math

    • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for fieldwork

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Relevant certifications or licensure in Land Surveying

    • TxDOT experience

    • Experience with Trimble equipment

    • Associates degree in Surveying

    • Familiarity with 3D laser scanning and drone services a plus

    • Experience with both commercial and municipal projects

    Other Requirements:

    • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

    • Ability to work outdoors in various conditions

    • Must have reliable transportation

    • Ability to work overtime as needed to complete projects

    • Successfully complete a drug screening and background check

    • Some travel may be required

  • We’re looking for experienced Utility Locators to join our team. In this role, you will use specialized equipment to identify and mark underground utilities including gas, electric, water, sewer, and telecom lines to ensure safe excavation and construction activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform field inspections to locate and mark underground utility lines using industry-standard locating equipment.

    • Interpret utility maps, plans, and construction drawings.

    • Document findings, create accurate field notes, and complete digital reports.

    • Communicate with contractors, customers, property owners, and supervisors to coordinate locating activities.

    • Follow all safety guidelines, regulatory standards, and company procedures.

    • Maintain equipment and ensure proper calibration and care.

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

    • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior utility locating experience.

  • Our Geospatial & Land Surveying Business in Spring, TX is hiring multiple full-time office technicians to support our engineering and commercial projects.
     
     Key details:
     • We utilize the latest Trimble technology, laser scanners, and drones for photogrammetry and lidar
     • Proficiency in drafting with Civil3D is essential
     
     Requirements:
     • Minimum of 2 years of office experience in land surveying applications, preferably with field experience
     
     Desirable Additional Skills:
     • Experience in laser scan and drone data processing and extraction
     • Proficient in Microstation
     • Proficient in GIS
     • CST Certification
